I’m Darren. I’m a marketer, photographer, filmmaker and someone who’s always been curious about people and what makes them who they are.

Film was my first real entry point into that curiosity. I remember watching Blade Runner as a teenager and realising how images, sound and atmosphere could make a story linger long after the credits rolled. That way of seeing things still shapes the work I do now.

Over the last ten years, I’ve worked with charities, consultancies, and global businesses like Clan Cancer Support, Petrofac, and M&G. My experience spans brand and marketing strategy, campaigns, digital channels, and creative production. I’ve led teams, worked alongside agencies and helped people with very different backgrounds find a common goal.

The work I’m proudest of usually starts with a conversation. It might be a client opening up about their experience with cancer support, an engineer sharing what drives them, or a colleague being honest about their day-to-day. I look for the details that help someone else see the story and feel a connection.

Photography, film, design, and writing are all ways I explore those stories. I like being hands-on; shaping an idea, asking questions, noticing the light, editing a sequence, and thinking about how it all fits together.
